Joy Seu

Hi! I'm Joy, I am a Registered Intern with my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UCF. I am happy to now be offering EMDR services ! I love therapy as a safe space for growth, and having been on both sides, I know that it can also be a bit intimidating. With that in mind, I primarily use a person centered approach, meaning I really value building trust with you and our therapeutic relationship. Research shows time and time again that the relationship with your therapist is key! I also believe that our experiences shape us in many ways, so it's important to me to really get to know you and the world that you move through. I work with young adults and have experience working with with self worth, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have a passion for being a safe space for women and minorities navigating the world, as our walks of life can be much more different. Life itself is complex and intricate, and so are we as human beings. Everyone deserves the safe space to grow and heal. When I'm out office, I love watching New Girl with my two cats, going for a walk, or attempting to bake a sweet treat!
